Foley Square / Worth Street
New York, New York
This modern rental apartment tower is located in the Wall Street area, downtown’s upcoming residential neighborhood. Upon arrival one is welcomed to a modern space with spare but taut detailing. Dark Macore wood panels facing the walls suggest a sense of mystery. In contrast, through its sparkle and reflectiveness, the aluminum leaf ceiling dematerializes the box, evoking a starry sky. Accent walls of glowing, backlit onyx highlight the lobby space. The same golden color stone is used at the reception desk.
The design intent is carried through into the adjacent mail-room, waiting area and elevator lobby. In addition, scope of work included common public corridors and apartment layouts with kitchens, bathrooms, and powder rooms throughout.
