DCD Capital Offices
11 East 44th Street, New York
10th floor plan DCD Capital LLC, an international company providing financial services, with its US headquarters in New York, moved to 44th Street east of Fifth Avenue to accommodate its growth. With the relocation, the company sought a fresh image, forward-looking in spirit, while maintaining the feeling of solidity and corporate integrity traditional to their business.
From the elevator lobby the visitor is ushered into a spacious reception area in which daylight is provided through a mullion-less glass partition, separating it from the perimeter window wall. It offers views into a boardroom and conference rooms, thus enabling a feeling of expansiveness. Conference rooms are divided with custom made, Wenge finished wood sliding partitions allowing for larger gatherings and town meetings. Traditional arrangement of private offices flanking the building perimeter is reversed and open style workstations extend to the window wall. Similarly to the office front, mullion-less glass partitions surround private offices, located at the core wall.
All furniture and custom millwork are fabricated in walnut wood. They stand in contrast with walls and floor finished in light and warm colors of wallcovering, carpet tiles and limestone. Soft seating is dressed up with accents of red fabrics.
